1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using The Black Swan Lab ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
The Black Swan Lab provides portfolio stress-testing tools and financial education content, including the Sunday Deep Dive newsletter. The Platform is offered under two tiers:
Observer (Free)
Limited stress-test access with 1 scenario and up to 3 asset classes.
Architect ($59/mo)
Full platform access, all scenarios, Antifragile Score, and the Sunday Deep Dive newsletter.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
- →The Architect plan is billed at $59.00 USD per month, charged automatically on a recurring basis.
- →Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method.
- →You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- →No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
- →We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to subscribers.
4. Not Financial Advice
Important
All content on the Platform — including stress-test results, scenario analyses, the Antifragile Score, and the Sunday Deep Dive newsletter — is provided for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on this Platform constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other form of professional financial counsel.
Past scenarios are not indicative of future performance. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- →Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
- →Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract data from the Platform
- →Share your account credentials with others
- →Redistribute or resell newsletter content without written permission
- →Attempt to circumvent free-tier limitations through technical means
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including the stress-test methodology, scenario data, newsletter content, and design — is the intellectual property of The Black Swan Lab. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Black Swan Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to investment losses, loss of data, or loss of profits.
8. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify active subscribers of material changes via email.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
